Dustin co-founded Southeast Texas Scuba with Tommy in 2016, driven by a vision to build more than just a dive shop—he wanted to create a true diving community that feels like family. Through relentless hard work and an unwavering determination, he has overcome numerous challenges to bring that vision to life. His commitment to excellence has not only earned him the respect of many but also opened doors for him to pursue his passion for diving full-time. Today, Dustin is the owner and operator of Texan Scuba, which manages the Blue Lagoon in Huntsville, TX—a transformed limestone quarry that now serves as a premier scuba diving site. While his accomplishments are already impressive, Dustin’s journey doesn’t stop there. His deep love for diving and teaching has led him to achieve the prestigious title of PADI Course Director—the highest rating an instructor can earn. Now, he finds fulfillment in mentoring others, guiding his students as they become instructors themselves. Dustin been diving since 2009, has been a PADI Elite Instructor status since 2018.
