Experience scuba diving under the direct supervision of a PADI Pro. Take your first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 meters/6 ft.
Bubblemaker is as fun as it sounds – a chance for kids to blow bubbles by scuba diving. Children who are at least 8 years old can use scuba gear to breathe underwater and swim around in shallow water. Have a party or celebrate a birthday by throwing a memorable, exciting Bubblemaker event with friends and family with Southeast Texas Scuba.
All children must be 8 years old or older. Kids must be comfortable in the water, but no prior experience is necessary. Parental approval is required.

PADI Bubblemaker Experience
The PADI Bubblemaker program is a fun and exciting introduction to scuba diving designed especially for kids ages 8 and up. If your child has been curious about breathing underwater or you’re looking for a safe, supervised way to introduce them to scuba, this experience is the perfect place to start.
At Southeast Texas Scuba, our certified PADI instructors create a safe, engaging, and memorable environment where kids can experience the thrill of scuba diving in shallow water.
Bubblemaker Experience Overview
After registering for the Bubblemaker session, parents will receive a brief orientation outlining what to expect and how to prepare.
This program is designed to be simple, safe, and fun. Participants will learn basic scuba concepts and get comfortable using real scuba equipment under close instructor supervision.
During the experience, participants will learn:
Basic scuba safety rules
Introduction to scuba equipment
All required waivers and medical forms must be completed prior to the session.
Confined Water Session (Pool Experience)
The date selected during registration is for your child’s Bubblemaker pool session.
During this session, participants will spend time in a controlled, pool environment where they can safely experience scuba diving in water no deeper than 6 feet.
Under direct supervision of a certified PADI instructor, kids will:
Breathe underwater using scuba equipment
Practice basic skills in a fun and relaxed setting
Swim and play simple underwater games
Gain confidence in the water
This experience is all about fun while building comfort and familiarity with scuba.
What Participants Get To Do
After completing the Bubblemaker experience, participants will:
- Experience breathing underwater for the first time
- Gain confidence using scuba equipment
- Learn basic diving safety concepts
- Receive a PADI Bubblemaker recognition certificate
This is not a certification course, but it is a great first step toward future scuba training such as the PADI Open Water Diver course.

Total Cost: $100 per participant
The experience includes:
- Pool session with a certified PADI instructor
- Use of scuba equipment including tank, regulator, BCD, and weights
- Fun underwater activities and games

Participants should bring a swimsuit, towel, and any personal swim gear they prefer.
